About Me

Poorly coordinated lady, born and bred In South West London. When I’m not chain drinking cups of tea or napping I’m usually listening and writing about music. Brought up on Beatles records and Britpop, music has always been a big passion and interest of mine. I have a varied CV of experience since graduating university, some of which has included working in fashion PR, administration and retail, none of which really sparked a great deal of interest both professionally or generally. My real passion has always been for music and with some helpful engorgement from my friends and family, I decided to make the dream a reality by perusing a career in music journalism. I now writing for a select number of  websites, including my own blog Tea and Symphony.

I spend most of my free time looking for new music, going to gigs, maxing mix CD's or rummaging trough the records in Rough Trade. Music wise, I love 1960′s garage rock but I also have a fondness for chillwave, surf rock and folk. My writing inspiration comes from the wise words of John Peel who once said “I just want to hear something I haven't heard before

I'm still in the proeces of setting up this website so please check back, or if you know how to code html into pretty website I will pay you kindly in gratitude and baked goods.
